Who we are

The Seaside Labs is a technology company based in Wareham, Massachusetts. This policy covers all pages on theseasidelabs.com.

What data we collect

We collect the information you submit so we can reply and, if we work together, keep a record of the request. Specifically:

• Contact and request forms: name; the email address or phone number you provide; your message; and, on some forms, business name or type, website, the kind of help requested, a preferred meeting time, and how you would like to meet. If you attach files, we also collect those files (for example documents, screenshots, or photos).
• Email: if you email us at [email protected] or [email protected], we collect the address you write from, the message, and any attachments.
• Bot check: contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser signals to confirm the submission comes from a person.
• No public account registration: the public site does not offer customer sign-up or account creation. Some areas of this site are restricted to the owner and use an authentication cookie.
• No payment information: this site does not process payments.

How we store and use it

Form submissions are transmitted to Cloudflare and stored in the United States: the text of the inquiry in a Cloudflare D1 database, and any attached files in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We use this information to respond to you, to keep a record of the inquiry, and to operate the business if the inquiry becomes a client relationship. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

When a form is submitted, a copy is sent to our operators by email and through the messaging tools we use to run the business (currently email, Discord, and Telegram) so we can reply. Those tools are operated by third parties under their own terms. We do not sell, rent, or share this information for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance (such as bot detection). We have no access to or control over those cookies, and they are not used for tracking or profiling.

Third-party services

This site uses Google Fonts to load the Fraunces and Instrument Sans typefaces. Google may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address) when your browser requests the font files. This site also displays public tide and water data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); your browser requests that data directly from NOAA. Contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person; Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser signals for that purpose. No other third-party services are embedded on this site.

Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described above (Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Turnstile for bot checks, and the email and messaging tools our operators use to reply) and if we are required to by law.

Data retention

If you contact us by email or through a form, we retain your name, contact details, message, any attachments, and our reply for as long as needed to address the inquiry. If the inquiry becomes a client relationship, we keep the records needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep a copy.

Your rights

You can contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
